This guided, early-morning tour listens to the break of the dawn chorus at Wild Ken Hill – as the first light of dawn falls on the land, hear birds start to sing in the distance before becoming engulfed in the approaching wave of sound and surrounded in a cacophony of bird song.
You’ll wander through the Wild Ken Hill woods just before dawn, hearing each song as it begins until individual voice is no longer possible and you surrender to the magnificent chorus as the day breaks.
Some voices might be of birds who have been to sub-Saharan Africa and some might be more local. As you wander through the woods, your expert guide will point out any visible wildlife going about its day. This tour makes for an unforgettable experience, especially when others are missing out, still asleep.
